Traci Newell is a licensed social worker and graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She serves as Education Coordinator and National Director of Families Count at Lifeline Children’s Services in Birmingham, Alabama. Her roles include the training and oversight of partner churches in Families Count and the development and implementation of educational initiatives within foster care and adoption services at Lifeline. Additionally, Traci is a Certified Master Trainer in Trauma Informed Partnering for Safety and Permanence (TIPS) and prepares social workers and foster parents around the state to teach this curriculum. As a former foster parent and now mother of two daughters through adoption, Traci’s passion is to share the grace of Christ through these ministries.
